The surprising part is the floor

A stationary VR slidemill stays in one place. You slide special shoes across a fixed concave platform, and sensors turn those steps into movement in supported VR games. KAT Walk C2 Core and Plus are the Amazon options here; Virtuix Omni One is a separate, more integrated system sold directly.

A safety frame keeps the user near the center. Low-friction shoes slide underfoot, so walking and running feel different from normal steps and require practice.

The Core bundle linked here includes Nexus and one selected-size pair of shoes, but not a headset. PCVR needs a capable Windows PC; standalone Quest setup still needs Windows configuration, developer mode, networking, and a supported game.
